La giribaldina

"La Giribaldina" produces quality wines in Calamandrana in the South Asti Monferrato area, one of the most beautiful hill-belts of Piedmont. The winery was established in 1995 following structural work to restore the original Giribaldi farmhouse and is now run by the Colombo family, coming from Lombardy.The whole family is involved in running the estate: Mariagrazia Macchi, oversees the vineyards and takes care of bookkeeping, the son Emanuele Colombo is mainly responsible for the cellar and the commercial side of the business.
Outside help is given by agronomist Piero Roseo since 1995, who also oversees the planting of new vineyards, and since 2003 enologist Beppe Caviola. In 2011 Matteo Graziano, historical family friend who has always loved the wine world, began working for the development of the commercial network.
